I somehow managed to get a little bit of sleep in after the house alarm and guess what, weird ass dreams! Oooh, but this time one victory out of a reoccurring dream! I’ve had dreams for years starting as a kid where I’d wake up in the backseat of a moving car. It used to be in the back of a 70’s Cadillac Deville, driving itself in the HOV lane, usually on the i-10 west around the tunnel, on that HOV ramp where you can see all of downtown Phoenix at night, it was very terrifying in an empty car. This morning I had this dream in the back of a car that was stick shift, and the girl sitting in the front passenger side wouldn’t jump over so I did and breaked and got it into neutral and it eventually stopped. I think it was knocked out of neutral and cars never stop immediately in my dreams when I break. Smh
These dreams became less frequent when I learned how to drive. After that I would jump into the drivers seat to steer and hit the breaks but the breaks were out or nothing was responsive. When I got over that my dreams started using manual vehicles cause I never learned stick. I guess after learning to ride a motorcycle and learning to shift it didn’t freak me out enough and the car eventually stopped. I mean I know in a zombie apocalypse I’d burn out the transmission and stall a couple times but I’d get from point a to point b in a car with a manual transmission now. Why do the breaks always take forever to work in dreams?
